First real metal work I've gotten to do in years. A very simple knife made from a reciprocating saw blade and a piece of wood. It is sharp enough to be useful, but not quite sharp enough, since I'm out of honing oil. The blade is flat ground, the first knife I've made that is, since I wanted something good for slicing and such, unlike a convex grind. The blade length is around 3 1/2 - 4" long. It is full tang.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board.
